Money Matters Too! (Formerly known as "Thank You Pfeg")
About the Project...
A Play about Personal Finance
Originally developed and commissioned by Alan Child, Regional Director (North) at PFEG, this play looks at three examples of how young people manage their finances.
Paul is in trouble! He’s hiding from his creditors, his six ex-wives, the bailiff, the pawnbroker and he hasn’t paid any of his bills. He still feels he should have the lobster and the Chateau Neuf du Pape, though!
Sarah is counting every penny. She’s never been on holiday, never bought a house, and never been married. She doesn’t trust banks and won’t buy shares, so all the money she has saved is kept under her bed.
Jane is well balanced. She keeps an eye on her finances. She has debt, but not so much that she can’t manage. She has a modest house and enjoys her money, spending some and investing some. She has worked hard for her money and her money works for her.
